Eat nYc The Bronx Food And Wine Festival to benefit the Food Bank Of New York

Hop on over to the Bronx for the first ever Eat nYc grand tasting. Eat nYc’s Bronx Food And Wine Festival will be taking over the mall,  occupying over 2 levels of its interior.  The evening will begin with a V.I.P. Runway show Kicking off Bronx Fashion Week, followed by food and wine samples from the Bronx’s finest chefs and local wineries.  The event will create awareness of hunger right here in our city- for every $1 donated, 5 meals will be given to those in need.  General admission is $50.

20th Anniversary of Harvest in the Square

Another great cause! From Union Square Partnership comes a celebration of cuisine and community to benefit Union Square Park.   Harvest has come a long way in 20 years, from becoming  Union Square’s premier food and wine tasting event to an important fundraiser to beautify, improve and program Union Square Park. Chefs from the most prestigious restaurants in the district will serve tastings of signature dishes using fresh produce from Union Square Greenmarket, paired with local wines and microbrews. General admission is $125.

Rockway Oyster Festival

Come and get it! Part of NYC’s Oyster Week, Rockaway oyster festival is a day long Oyster, beer & music festival.  There will be Irish bands and local acts live, plus they are promising “the best oysters you’ve ever had in your life!”  General admission is $20, VIP tickets are $47.

Vegetarian Indian-Chinese Seasonal Feast: Tangra Endless Summer

Savoring the last days of summer? Join Diana Kuan & Chitra Agrawal for a 7-course vegetarian, seasonal Indian-Chinese pop-up feast with local beers and ciders, taking place at 61 Local. There will be a multi-course meal served family-style that highlights the last of Summer flavors from local vegetables and fruits. Tickets are $75.
