Slow Food USA Town Hall Meeting with Alice Waters and Dan Barber

A 60 minute national telephone conversation to kick-off the 2015 September Slow Food membership campaign.  They will explore questions about the future of food, like: What efforts inspire you? Has, as Dan Barber contends, the farm-to-table movement run its course? Are there deeper goals for farmers to join forces with chefs? What about soil? Technology? Beauty? Do these desires and concerns inform and inspire us in a nation with a growing appetite for edible education?

 In coordination with Good Passports Summer 2015 Beer Passport program Heights Tavern is hosting a Tasting Tuesday Beer Dinner with Brooklyn Brewery.  Enjoy the last of our summer nights with a five-course dinner paired with Brooklyn Brewery beers.

Veggiepalooza!

A palooza we can all get behind! Celebrate the epic harvests of summer with a cocktail hour and a four-course family-style dinner.  Five amazing chefs will put their own spin on Brooklyn Grange’s rooftop crops, with garden to glass cocktails and a farm fresh menu.  Tickets are $95.

Beer and Cheese 101@ Murray’s Cheese

Wine and cheese pairings, meet beer and cheese pairings.  This event will work through six beer and cheese pairings from Murray’s gourmet selection.  Tickets are $85.

Station Restaurant | 166 North 7th St | Brooklyn
Williamsburg Bites Brooklyn Food Tour

Join this two and a half hour tour with Like a Local to discover the best that Williamsburg has to offer.  You will eat full-portion foods, and learn about the history of the neighborhood.  Tickets are $50, come hungry!
